Commonweath games story

MY COMMONWEATH GAMES SWIMMING STORY!

As they gained on me I swam harder and harder. Here I was at the Commonwealth Games swimming in the 400m freestyle, my dream since I was 8. Ten years later I finally achieved my goal as the youngest in the event at only 18 years old against world champs.  Here was the last 50 meters and I swam my hardest I ever had in my life. My legs kicked so hard that they felt like they were going to turn into jelly, only another 10 meters and I was sure to get a medal.  1, 2, 3, As I touched the edge of the pool I could hear cheering pounding around my head, I had won a gold medal!

Commonwealth Games

I think the Commonwealth games are: Like the Olympics but only the countries in the commonwealth can compete and they are also 2 years apart.

Other facts I know are:

• There is no equestrain because the World Equestrian Games happen 2 months apart.

• There is 17 sports.
• There are two kinds of gymnastics.(Rhythmic and Artistic)
• This year will be the 20th Commonwealth games.
• This year it is held in Glasgow, Scotland

My Rainbow Loom!!!

In the holidays my sister got a loom kit ... I was pretty jealous. But then LIGHT BULB, I decided to make my own using a block of wood ( around 25x8 cm),  Paint (Blue and Pink), Paint brush, about 22 screws and a drill.

Here you can see it turned out pretty awesome!

First I painted the block pink!

Then I did some cool designs with the blue paint

Then my Dad drilled in the screws.

And TA DA finished!

THIS IS ALSO MY PrEP IDEA SO MITTS OFF!

Kiwi Kids News-Mars Mission!

In 2024 A group of people will be going on a space mission to Mars but there is a catch! Its a one way trip!!! 200,000 people have applied and 1058 remain in the selction process,A student from Victoria University (Wellington) is still in the running to go. To alot of people this would seem like total madness.

Would you go if you could?
