The Great Trade Off Game!

Today we played a game as part of PrEP. The game was called the great trade off game. We played in groups of three, I was with Samara and Mackenzie.

You need 3 differnt coloured set of 30 beans for your group and call one colour free time, one money and one fun. Each person needs 3 "fun" 3 "money" and 5 "free time" tokens. Each person needs two coloured counters each. You roll the dice and whatever number it is you go on that number goal. The game board has different squares on it with differnt words some are: Wash the car, Make bracelts to sell and Go to the movies. For each one you get or lose counters of each type like wash the car might be +3 money -2 Free time and -1 fun. The winner was the closest one to our goal. Samara won, I got second and Mackenzie got 3rd! Overall our group thought the game was lots of fun!

We have also been doing more finacal literacy things like: Studdyladder literacy (ranging from year 4 to 7 things),We also (in groups) planned a trip around the world my group went to Rio de janeiro!, we also did a financal words bingo!

I have learnt lots about Financal Literacy during this PrEP like how to save, spend wiseley and how to have lots of fun while doing maths!
